Trip through Asia, from India to Japan!

After 26H of travel from Seoul with a transit in China : Auckland in New zealand. This country of 4 millions people and more than 40 millions ships where June is the beginning of winter.

I wanted to work right away with my working holyday visa, but after few days, maybe because of my laziness, I choose to enjoy myself. I found 3 travelbuddies to rent a campervan and hit the road with me.

Back to Seoul for a few days. I stayed in a friendly guesthouse in the nice neighbour of Hongdae.

The first couple of days where sunny.

I visited the Changdeokgung Palace and see the Bukchon village again:

After a lot of rain and fog but fun anyway. I had walks in the city, tasted new food in the Gwangjang Marquet and I laughed, ate and drunk a lot with some friends after their live performance. I also saw the fountain and light show of the Bampo bridge.

And I was already time to go to the airport and spent my last wons.

Just south of Seoul : Suwon.
The city is surrounded by a huge fortress wall (6km long).
I started with a walk at night. I twisted my ankle like a stupid girl in the uneven stairs so the days after was just resting.

After a night stop in Daejon, I arrived in Danyang, a small town surrounded by a large river and high mountains.

I visited the gorgeous and huge temple complex of Guin-sa. A lantern event had to take place a few days before, it was cleaning time. So I help a little and be thanked by the local grandmas with a lot of red beans bread!

Then, I took some fresh air in a funny cave full of monsters!

The day after, it was river cruise time.

Just a little bit north of Buyeo : Gongju.

The main attraction here is the fortress. I've been realy lucky, there was a special event. Changing of the Guard ceremony, dances and costumes.
